Days for Girls and the Teachable Spirit

What is the single greatest resistance against poverty? What simple tool is employed to leverage this resistance? How did the teachable spirit find out about it? Fleshing out my vision with the inception of my website in 2013, I had originally included prepubescent training and feminine care products as part of the program I desired to implement for the girls of Ingrid Education Centre. As has been the case with much of my work, I had not the slightest idea how I was going to do it, nor a time frame when it would transpire. The teachable spirit knows that God’s timing is best, allowing all things to come to fruition in His time, as the scripture says: He hath made everything beautiful in its time… Ecc. 3:11 One of the values of the teachable spirit...

The Mind of Messiah with the Teachable Spirit

The Mind of Messiah with the Teachable Spirit

What is the mind of Messiah? How is it acquired? How will the mind of Messiah benefit the teachable spirit? Let this mind be in you , which was also in Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus): who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. Philippians 2:5-7 Many people say that Yeshua (Jesus) was poor when He walked on this earth. Appearances can be deceiving. While I believe He stripped Himself of His godly form, I think that He came to show us how to live in this realm. If we take nothing with us, then we only need what we have in this very moment, nothing more, nothing less. Yeshua (Jesus) had exactly what He needed when He needed...

What’s Next for the Teachable Spirit?

What’s Next for the Teachable Spirit?

What’s next for the teachable spirit? What could I do to make my life even better than it already is? What do I enjoy that I would like to have more of every day of my life? While I knew the answers to those questions, it also involves the engagement, interaction, and agreement of other people. That’s right, living life alone is great; however, living life with other people, the right kind of people, is even better. While I enjoy my solitude, easy schedule, and living life as it comes, I have discovered that I like mixing it up by engaging with individuals that encourages the best out of both of us. I have learned that the key to success lies in: collaboration encouragement support structure creativity self-esteem Doing things by myself has always...

Sufficiency with the Teachable Spirit

Sufficiency with the Teachable Spirit

What is the definition of sufficiency? What is enough? How does the teachable spirit acquire this concept? Sufficiency is the quality of precisely enough, the adequate supply that meets our needs exactly where we are, neither too much nor two little. In her book, The Soul of Money, Lynne Twist describes sufficiency as the place hidden on the inverse side of the three toxic myths prevalent in our world today: There is not enough. More is better. That’s just the way that it is. Yeshua (Jesus) lived in sufficiency. Some say He was poor; others say that He was wealthy because He was the Son of God. The truth is, He always had exactly enough to do precisely what he needed to do at that moment; never more and never less. When the tax collectors were attempting...

Alone with the Teachable Spirit

Alone with the Teachable Spirit

How can you be happy alone? What does the teachable spirit need to do to create happiness when you are alone? These are very difficult questions to answer, especially if we are busy people that have families and care for children. My life is serene now compared to what it was in the days when family was the focus; however, the work I was doing in my family’s life at that time would have benefited from answering these two questions. The scripture says, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Do you see that loving yourself is the foundation for loving your neighbor? The care that you take in meeting your own needs will be the same care you take in meeting those closest to you. Yeshua (Jesus) told a story in reference to this concept: And behold, a lawyer stood up...
