What is it about sports that makes it the great equalizer? Why are people so fanatic about sports? Why would a doctor like Dr. Jeff Kahrs travel to Kenya, Africa, with sports equipment for children who lack even the basic essentials such as food and water? Meeting Dr. Jeff Kahrs: Understanding the Experiences of Life

Feeling the need to return to chiropractic care, I called the office of Dr. Dean Simmons, whom I had known for over twenty years. Understanding that Dr. Dean would not be doing the initial interview, but I could continue receiving care from him afterwards, I met Dr. Jeff Kahrs for the first time. I found him to be personable, attentive, and reflective regarding his work, his life, and his role in the universe. Mentioning that he was traveling to Kenya in December 2013 set off sparks of excitement between us and exclamations on my part; I had traveled to Kenya in October 2012, and again in January/February 2013.
