Empty Vessels: Reflecting on Scripture

Do you see the universe as having more than an abundant supply? The truth is that the universe is abundant in every aspect. We experience lack because we see the bottom of the pot. There is always more where that came from, provided we are open to seeing it that way. When there is not enough it is because we believed there was an end. Abundant Supply: Understanding the Experiences of Life

Do you see the universe as having more than an abundant supply? When you look at the world, what do you see? This might seem like a trite question; you can respond that you see trees, lakes, forests, etc., but I am not referring to physicality. We see the world around us through the concepts and ideas in our head. Understanding the experiences of life during my childhood has caused me to wonder why there was always a race to get to the last piece of cake, the last piece of candy, the last piece of chicken, or whatever was the most delicious remaining substance. Raising my children, this was the same, even though I repeatedly told them I could make more, I could go buy the ingredients and make the same dish–they still raced to finish the most delicious recent...
