The Pigs’ Pajama Party: Laughing with the Teachable Spirit

The teachable spirit also needs laughter. Sometimes a mental break and use of the belly muscles helps give perspective to the day. Join me while I relay a story written by one of my students when I was teaching the GED at Highline Community College: THE PIG’S PAJAMA PARTY Deep in a forest were three little pigs, wearing purple frog pajamas. They were laying three beds out. Jedidiah, the first little piggy in his purple frog pajamas, hopped into bed, expressing the fact that he was very tired. Jonah said very mysteriously that he had a few more things to do before he rested his head. Micah fluffed his pillow, pulled out his book, and put his glasses on, preparing to finish his book. Jonah was up to no good. He pulled out a cake pan and filled it half way up...
