Encouraging Growth with Passover

Passover, otherwise known as Pesach in Hebrew, is the first Festival of the Lord in the spring, which falls on the 14th of Nissan. This year, that happens to be the 14th of April (2014). Passover has a prophetic and personal application, encouraging growth in the life of the believer. Yeshua (Jesus) died on the afternoon of the 14th of Nissan, at 3:00 p.m., fulfilling prophecy. At the exact moment that the High Priest said, “It is finished,” Yeshua (Jesus) echoed the same sentiment on the cross: When Yeshua (Jesus) had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. –John 19:30 What was finished?
