Understanding the Experiences of Life: Why Dr. Warren Bruhl and Dr. Jeff Kahrs

Why is it so important that Dr. Warren Bruhl and Dr. Jeff Kahrs specifically be the ones bringing chiropractic care to the Maasai, making it a household name in the Kimana Rift Valley of Kenya?

Understanding the experiences of life has taught me that everything happens for a reason; you attract who you are not what you want.

Finding truth in the work that his parents were doing in Kenya, Dr. Warren Bruhl realized that his mother had found The Hole in the Gospel referred to in the book of the same name, written by Richard Stearns, President of World Vision, motivating him to join forces with the work Ken and Sandy Taylor were doing.

Lack of resources, appropriate personnel, limited resources for medications, substandard income, and lack of domestic support juxtaposed with the relationship that Ken and Sandy Taylor had built with the Maasai in the Kimana Rift Valley over the 25 years of their tenure there provided an opening for him to share his own work as a chiropractor.

Where there is need there is opportunity.

Dr. Warren Bruhl went home and spoke with his accountant, asking him if he knew how to set up a 501(c)3. His reply was,

“No, but I have always wanted to.”

Desire is the starting point for understanding the experiences of life. What we are attracted to was put there by God when He created us so that when we fulfill the desires of our heart, we are simultaneously completing the work God designed us to do.

Thus, Dreamweaver International was born.

When Dr. Warren Bruhl thought about how effective chiropractic care was in working with the Maasai, he sought for other like-minded individuals who would join the team with the same heart and desire to make chiropractic care a household name. Responding to the call was Dr. Jeff Kahrs.

Dr. Warren Bruhl says,

“I had not seen Jeff in 20 years. I knew that he was the man to participate because I knew the problems we are up against are huge. Jeff is like a rock, like a big Mac truck.”

What specifically makes Dr. Jeff Kahrs invaluable to the cause? Essentially, I believe, as I am sure Dr. Warren Bruhl would agree, that it is all the things that make a person GREAT:

I am equally grateful, as I am sure Ken and Sandy Taylor are, to have these two gentlemen, Dr. Warren Bruhl and Dr. Jeff Kahrs, in my life because of their collective energy, enthusiasm, can-do attitude, humility, and faith in God to do the work that needs to be done in Kenya.
